Kelsey Campground
     

      The Kelsey Campground is located about seven miles southwest of the small town of Buffalo Creek and 7.5 miles northwest of Deckers at an elevation of 8,000 feet. There 17 campsites situated around a paved loop. Campsites are suitable for tents and small RVs. The campground is located in a stand of mature spruce trees offering good shade and privacy. Reservations may be made but sites 1 and 4 are not reservable. The Kelsey Campground is close to the Buffalo Creek mountain bike area. Open May through early September.

Activities:
HIKING: The Colorado Trail runs through the area offering hiking opportunities.

BIKING: Thirty miles of trails are available in the Buffalo Creek mountain bike area.

WILDLIFE VIEWING: Wildlife Viewing: There is an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure.

Directions:
     
Take Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Turn south on Highway 126 and follow it to the town of Buffalo Creek . Follow 126 approximately seven miles south to the campground.
