Denver Creek Campground
     

     

Denver Creek Campground is located about 13 miles north of Granby on State Highway 125 at an elevation of 8,800 feet. The campground is split by the highway with 10 sites along Willow Creek. There are 22 sites in the campground. Nineteen are suitable for RV camping and 3 are more suitable for tents. Most of the sites are in wooded areas. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 25 feet.
     The roads through the campground are gravel. There are 2 water hydrants and 2 restrooms. None of the restrooms will accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are not accepted. The season for this campground normally runs from Memorial Day through mid October, depending on the weather. Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.

Activities:
HIKING: There are no established trails in the area but a few jeep roads can provide a hiking experience.

FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in Willow Creek that runs along side of the campground.

Directions:
     
Take I-70 to US 40. Travel north on US 40 to Granby. Stay on US 40 to State Route 125, approximately two miles north. Turn right on 125 and travel north about 11 miles to the campground. The campground is split into two sections, one on each side of the road.
